Dutch Charitable Gaming
From each lottery at least 50% of the turnover must be destined for charitable purposes. The total amount of prizes and other costs related to organizing a lottery may not exceed 40% of the turnover.
As part of the new Remote Betting and Gaming Bill, lotteries that currently transfer 50% of their turnover to charities will in the future only have to transfer 40%, but this drop is not expected to go into effect in the next few years.
